Problem

Cleaning our furniture, appliances, vehicles and spaces takes about five hours every week (more than two years of a normal life) yet very talented people continue to design products and spaces that are incredibly difficult and, often, impossible to clean.

Opportunity

As time becomes our most precious and increasingly scarce resource, a new opportunity emerges: to create products and spaces where beauty is inseparable from effortless cleanliness. This calls for a brand, design studio or company dedicated to rethinking how things are made—where durability, simplicity and ease of cleaning are fundamental.

Possible objectives for easy to clean products and spaces

  • Retail furniture brand.

  • Design studio that builds a reputation redesigning electronic appliances

  • Automobile designers

  • Designers of doors, windows, toilets, sinks

  • Architect studio that designs more efficient spaces

Given the enormous amount of time that we have spent cleaning it is surprising that there is not an "IKEA" of easy-to-clean furniture, but the fact there is not, means that there can be.
